Fans of In the Loop, The Thick of It, and Veep will no doubt love the fact that Armando Iannucci has a new movie coming out, and today we have the trailer The Death of Stalin. Not only does the trailer show the laugh out loud political satire we come to expect from Iannucci, but also shows off the impressive cast.
The Death of Stalin is the latest feature film from one of Britain’s finest comedic exports, Armando Iannucci – the Oscar nominee and Emmy winner behind In the Loop, The Thick of It and Veep. It comes packed with Iannucci’s trademark wit and irreverence and features an ensemble cast of unrivalled comedic heritage including: Steve Buscemi, Michael Palin, Jeffrey Tambor, Jason Isaacs, Rupert Friend, Simon Russell Beale, Andrea Riseborough, Paddy Considine and Olga Kurylenko. The script is written by Iannucci, David Schneider and Ian Martin, with additional material by Peter Fellows.
Hopefully the film has saved some of the best jokes for itself, because if this trailer is anything to go by, this is going to be a very funny movie.
