New IT Poster Released for SDCC

SDCC time is here again, and for those of us not lucky enough to be there, we still get to enjoy some marketing for the latest movies, comics, toys, and other stuff at the event. One of these things is the new poster revealed for IT. All the hype around the film seems to be trying to convince us how it will be one of the scariest movies of all time, and the ultimate telling of Stephen King’s famous novel. Whether that is the case, we’ll have to see. Until then, take a look at the cool new poster that has been released for Comic Con.

IT

Warner Bros. release a new one sheet for IT, based on the novel by Stephen King, coming to cinemas 8th September ahead of Comic Con San Diego 2017.

New Line Cinema’s horror thriller “IT,” directed by Andrés Muschietti (“Mama”), is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades.

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

“IT” stars Bill Skarsgård (“Allegiant,” TV’s “Hemlock Grove”) as the story’s central villain, Pennywise. An ensemble of young actors also star in the film, including Jaeden Lieberher (“Midnight Special”), Jeremy Ray Taylor (“Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip”), Sophia Lillis (“37”), Finn Wolfhard (TV’s “Stranger Things”), Wyatt Oleff (“Guardians of the Galaxy”), Chosen Jacobs (upcoming “Cops and Robbers”), Jack Dylan Grazer (“Tales of Halloween”) and Nicholas Hamilton (“Captain Fantastic”).

IT will be released nationwide on 8 SEPTEMBER, 2017
