Stranger Things 2 First-Look Images Revealed

Halloween is still some time away, like…almost a year away, but that doesn’t stop Netflix from teasing us with some Stranger Things 2 first-look images. It feels like the months until we get to see the return of Eleven and her friends are going to be hard to survive. At least we have these images to take a look at, with a few hints of the drama to come.

So what can we tell from these images? Not much really, other than the fact the boys are going trick-or-treating as the Ghostbusters. Based on the time the show is set, that is no surprise as everybody was crazy about the film. We also see Winona Ryder’s character Joyce Byers looking worried, but if we remember the last episode of season 1, she has good reason to think that all is not right when it comes to her son Will (Noah Schnapp).

In another image we also see Police Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour) searching for something. The fact we don’t see any sign of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) could mean that he is searching for her, especially when again we remember the end of the first season and his actions which teased her still being around. It comes as no surprise that we don’t see her in these Stranger Things 2 images though, as these shots will of course be the big reveals. Hopefully we won’t find out just how she returns until we actually see the show ourselves.

What we can be sure about is that Netflix are trying to make sure that they have another hit on their hands. Releasing teasers and images so early is going to build up the hype to fever pitch with the fans, so expectations are going to be high. Hopefully it will be able to live up to what the fans expect, and based on the reaction from the first season, it probably will.
