The Latest Gaming News Coming Your Way This September

The whole landscape of the gaming world is set to change all over again pretty soon. Only this past week, Sony announced two new versions of their PlayStation 4 console, and with Nintendo set to unveil their “NX” console soon, things are bound to get pretty interesting very shortly.

PlayStation VR

And never rule out Microsoft either, as their “Project Scorpio” is lying in wait yet! Let’s take a short look at some of the bigger stories to happen recently in the gaming world.

Nintendo’s NX release date leaked?

Nintendo might be looking to hire a solicitor and they may need to contact different sources to get a good one, as it seems that the best kept secret in all of gaming has slipped, and the release date for the NX console has been inadvertently released.

“So, how could this have happened?” I hear you ask. Well, the leak came in the form of an Amiibo announcement to go with the new Zelda game for NX,  Breath of the Wild. Nintendo France’s Amiibo website listed the release date for the NX console as March the 4th 2017.

This was quickly taken down, but more news is bound to be released in the coming weeks, and we expect it to be in an official manner this time.

The PSVR – Less Than 1 Month Before Release Date

Hoards of gamers all over the country have had some thrills with this device, and the consensus is always the same – the PSVR is a game changer.

People can’t get over the immersion that is possible with this head mounted display and, for some, the October 13th release date cannot come quick enough. People have been gushing only good things about trying out the HMD in places like Best Buy, playing the likes of Project Cars and RIGS in 3D, 360 degrees views.

Imagine taking Trevor from GTA V on a drink and drug fuelled joyride throughout San Andreas in VR (of course this is not recommended in real life and for  everything you need to know about drink and drug driving there are great articles available on the Solicitors Guru website).

It’s agreed that really unique experiences are now possible with this HMD that would never be achievable in the real world. Such is the volume of pre orders and interest in this device that you can expect stocks to sell out quickly, and it may be a while before they’re reloaded.

Death Stranding to Arrive Before 2019

It has been revealed that the new Hideo Kojima masterpiece starring The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus will be out before 2019. The former Konami and Metal Gear Solid helmsman says that there may also be a heroine featured in this mysterious game.

Not giving much away, Kojima stated that there might be “”Mechs” featured in the game, and that it will run on a well known engine, rather than one built from the ground up especially for this release. More info is bound to drop for this game in the coming weeks and months so stay tuned.
