Making Your Home Intruder Proof – Pokémon Go Style

Pokémon Go is a new phenomenon taking over gaming, you’ll no doubt have experienced a player of the game by now. They come walking past looking at their phone mumbling about where the next creature is for their collection. Their phone is like a fishing rod pulling them along to their next destination, but what about if this is on your property?

With this in mind Security Direct have come up with a light-hearted infographic about how to keep a Pokémon Go master off of your property and you can see this below. We must point out though that this is only for fun, and you must not setup anything that would hurt a player of the Pokémon games. Most of these players are respectful of private property and if they did want to go onto your land would no doubt ask permission.

With a fun point of view in mind though how would you keep a Pokémon Go master off your property? Well a good start would be strong steel doors, electric fences and guard dogs. A good healthy bark from a scary dog will no doubt be a sign that this is a Pokémon that is most likely going to escape the clutches of a wannabe master.

Looking at the infographic you can tell that this is about home safety, and is a fun look at how to keep an intruder off your property. As we’ve already mentioned don’t take this too seriously and most importantly do not set up anything that would put a player of Pokémon Go in any danger.

What this also does bring up though is the dangers of games which use Augmented Reality and seemingly forgets about the privacy of a property. In the future will there be rules around what area can be deemed playable? It could happen.
