Goodnight Mommy UK Poster Teases an Intense Experience

Goodnight Mommy is one of those movies that has a certain word of mouth publicity thing going on. Genuinely creepy and intense it seems that this is one of those horror films that actually lives up to being a true horror. Today we have a new poster for the UK release which is coming March 4th, as well as the trailer for the film. Just watching the trailer you can feel the intensity, though thankfully it doesn’t give away too much about what we are actually going to see in the film. This seems to be one to watch though, so make sure you watch it…if you dare.

In the heat of the summer, a lonesome house in the countryside between woods and corn fields, lives nine-year-old twin brothers who are waiting for their mother. When she comes home, bandaged after cosmetic surgery, nothing is like before. The children start to doubt that this woman is actually their mother. It emerges an existential struggle for identity and fundamental trust.
