Trailer Revealed for Coen Brother’s Hail, Caesar!

Anytime a Joel & Ethan Coen movie is revealed people are going to take notice, and to say that it has an all-star cast really goes without saying. Today we have the new trailer for Hail, Ceasar! and this cast is pretty damn huge: Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Channing Tatum, Scarlett Johansson, Jonah Hill and Frances McDormand. Feeling like a celebration of Hollywood’s Golden Age of cinema this is bound to press all the right buttons for fans of movies. Watching the trailer it feels like a typical Coen movie, and when the typical movie from these writers/directors is The Big Lebowski, No Country for Old Men, and Fargo then you can’t help but be excited.

So what are your thoughts on the trailer? My first impressions are that I want to see it now, obviously touching on the production of Ben Hur as well as some of the musicals of the time there is an odd feeling to some of the scenes, and what exactly is “The future”? Personally I’m looking forward to this one a lot.

Four-time Oscar-winning filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen (No Country for Old Men, True Grit, Fargo) write and direct Hail, Caesar!, an all-star comedy set during the latter years of Hollywood’s Golden Age.  Starring Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Channing Tatum, Scarlett Johansson, Jonah Hill and Frances McDormand, Hail, Caesar! follows a single day in the life of a studio fixer who is presented with plenty of problems to fix.
