The Gamescom 2015 Dark Souls 3 Trailer Promises Epic Battles

At Microsoft’s Gamescom 2015 press conference they revealed the latest Dark Souls 3 trailer and even as a more casual Dark Souls fan I have to admit it impressed me a lot. Featuring some gameplay footage the atmosphere created and battles that were shown pressed all the right horror buttons for me, making this a game I want to play. I may rage quit too many times from the inevitable deaths, but that won’t stop me wanting to do battle in this game.

With more than a little feel of Bloodborne to it, you can tell the return of Hidetaka Miyazaki is having the right kind of influence on the game, and this is not a bad thing. This should be Dark Souls return to form, even though Dark Souls 2 was not a bad game. What we are seeing of Dark Souls 3 though, it is hard to not ignore the feeling of epicness around this one.
